Hey everyone my name is Michelle! I started taking pictures when I was sixteen after I got my first digital camera, and since then I haven't stopped. I love taking pictures! Not a day goes by where I haven't taken a picture in some form or another either on my phone or my camera. I take pictures of pretty much everything as you can see. I try and capture the moment so I can remember my life better since I don't have a photographic memory. I decided to go though all my pictures and pick out my favorites in different categories. I hope you like looking at them as much as I have loved taking them!

Favorite Photography Quotes

"We try and grab pieces of our lives as they speed past us. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were. We don't know these lost people but if you look around, you'll find someone just like them." ~Gene McSweeney~

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is! ~DeGriff~

All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget. In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings. Paintings record what the painter remembers. Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it. ~John Berger~

A good snapshot stops a moment from running away. ~Eudora Welty~

When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence. ~Ansel Adams~

"Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." ~Dorthea Lange~

"There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are." ~Ernst Haas~
When I say I want to photograph someone, what i really mean is that I'd like to know them. Anyone I know I photograph. ~Annie Leibovitz~

"I'm always mentally photographing everything as practice." ~Minor White~

"In photography, the smallest thing can become a bug subject, an insidnificant human detail can become a leitmotiv. We see and we make seen as a witness to the world around us; the event, in its nature activity, generates an organic rhythm of forms." ~Henri Cartier-Bresson~
"The marvels of daily life are exciting; no movie director can arrange the unexpected that you find in the street." ~Robert Doisneau~

"Nothing happens when you sit at home. I always make it a point to carry a camera with me at all times... I just shoot at what interests me at that moment." ~Elliott Erwitt~
"You've got to push yourself harder. You've got to start looking for pictures nobody else could take. You've got to take the tools you have and probe deeper." ~William Albert Allard~
"Most things in life are moments of pleasure and a lifetime of embarrassment; photography is a moment of embarrassment and a lifetime of pleasure." ~Tony Benn~
